Tina is an experienced mediator, arbitrator and litigator, with a special focus on appellate advocacy, which lead to her involvement in numerous appeals that have set the leading cases in Alberta. Her sole practice was in the area of family law, and she has appeared at all levels of court in Canada, with over 100 appearances at the Court of Appeal, and appearing as counsel at the Supreme Court of Canada

Tina also taught Techniques in Negotiations as a sessional instructor at the University of Alberta Law School for 5 years and is a regular speaker, presenter, chair and volunteer with the Canadian Bar Association, Legal Education Society of Alberta, and CPLED. She has also served on various committees, including being a member of the Habitat for Humanity Legal Build Committee, and various other charitable organizations.

Tina completed her national arbitration training in 2015, and received her Chartered Arbitrator designation in 2021. She was appointed Queen’s Counsel (now King’s Counsel) in 2022.
